Abstract
The diffusion equations with non-local boundary conditions arise in the mathematical modeling of many physical phenomena. In this paper, we present higher order diagonal Padé scheme for the numerical solution of two-dimensional diffusion equations subject to non-local boundary conditions. These numerical schemes based on (m, m) - Padé approximations to the matrix exponentials arising from the method of lines semi discretization approach. The numerical results for a model problem with known theoretical solutions are used to prove the accuracy of these schemes. © 2010 American Institute of Physics.
