Abstract
Using a continuum Ginzburg-Landau method we consider a problem of homogeneous nucleation in systems with large driving forces, which is relevant to nucleation of colloids and aerosols and biological crystals. To analyze the nucleation process we use the concept of escape time in the theoretical Kramers-type approach and brute-force numerical method. © 2013 AIP Publishing LLC.
