Abstract
Consider a system, which is described by two scalar OP fields, ?(r, t) and ?(r, t), of different nature. The OP ? represents generalized coordinate characterized by the mass density ?, while the OP ?(r, t) is “massless,” that is, its mass density is zero. Then, in addition to the potential energy and gradient energy, the system is characterized by kinetic energy. In the spirit of our previous discussion, we will assume that the field ?(r, t) is responsible for dissipation of the mechanical energy of the system.
