Abstract
FINC 311 – Principles of Finance: A course in basic financial management, including the study of the nature of financial management, financial analysis, working capital management, and long-term investment decisions. The course covers fundamental financial concepts and principles. Emphasis is placed on practical problem solving skills based on these concepts and principles. Topics include the role of the financial manager in achieving corporate objectives, time value of money, risk and return, interest rate, and valuation.
