Description
This is a program for the Sesquicentennial (150th) Founders Day at Fayetteville State University (FSU). This is the annual ceremony that observes the university's past, present, and future with a special emphasis on this being the celebration of 150 years of FSU. It contains the schedule of events for the program, speakers, songs, lists of those in leadership, history of the college, and the Sesquicentennial Hymn. Also included is a picture and biography of the Chancellor, James A. Anderson, and the Keynote Speaker, Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. The Brewington-Sansbury Family is highlighted as Family of the Year, and the FSU Chancellor's Medallion, the University Seal, and the University Mace are also described. There is a Proclamation included, signed by the Chancellor. The 125th Time Capsule Launching Ceremony and its contents are highlighted as well.
