Description

This is a program for Founders Day at Fayetteville State University (FSU), the annual ceremony that observes the university's past, present, and future. This event celebrates 136 years for FSU, and the program includes a photograph of the original Howard School (now FSU); and the history of the college. Also included are the order of events, awards given, songs, the alma mater, a litany, lists of administration and committee members, and recognition of legacy (50 years) alumni. The Keynote Speaker for this event is Dr. Frank B. Weaver, the Family of the Year is the Alvin and Ruth C. Taylor family, and there is a photograph and biography of the Chancellor, Dr. Willis B. McLeod. There is a letter from the Governor of North Carolina, Michael F. Easley included as well. Additionally, there is a Resolution for the naming of Lloyd V. Hackley Hall and an honoring/conferring to Dr. Lloyd V. Hackley, the eighth CEO of FSU, as Chancellor Emeritus. This program does not have page numbers.
