Abstract

In addition to helping a company become and stay competitive, the balanced scorecard can play an important role in helping a company's board of directors become knowledgeable and uptodate about the business. It can also help improve compliance, especially with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
